Calling the customer service department of any existing computer company is always a pain in the ass and an itch in the crotch. If you want a free ticket to a long and winding nightmarish experience, grab your phone and dial those literally hot hotline numbers. What I hate most about CSRs is that they make customers do that tedious, irritating process called waiting.
Yes, like with Dell Financial Services, I spent half an hour waiting for a rep to answer my call and another thirty minutes waiting for his explanation how on earth I incurred a late fee on my account! And you know what, I didn't understand a word he was saying. Maybe, he's got speech defect or we're having a bad connection; but I prefer it if he does have speech defect.
And it's a shame DFS hires people like that nasty little bastard to attend to my needs. Come to think of it, he didn't attend to ANY of my needs! Dell laptops and personal digital assistants are great, but with that kind of customer service, people will surely switch to Hewlett-Packard. Anyway, I don't hate DFS as a whole, okay? As a matter of fact, I love their automated voice prompt which didn't hesitate to inform me to press 0 to reroute my call to the operator. Jolly thanks!

If you've heard about the issue regarding a laptop that costs $100 before, then you might be startled by this article because the so-called laptop that will alter the world got a bit heftier. Nicholas Negroponte, One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) head which is a non-profit organization and said that the notebook which was popularized to cost only a hundred dollars would possibly cost up to $140. However, he added that by 2008, the price could drop from 140 to 50 dollars depending on the volume of it sales.
In the recent Red Hat convention, he informed audience that they'll promise to make the price decrease until everyone can afford it without compromising its quality. With its rugged design and weight of 2 pounds, OLPC is planning to eliminate marketing and sales costs for their product which makes commercial notebooks expensive. Several countries like Brazil, China, and Thailand have expressed interest in purchasing bulk volumes of the small notebook. The said notebook is set to be released this year.
Other companies behind this noble project are Linux, BrightStar, Google, eBay, and Quanta. There were reports that Microsoft made an offer to make the operating system but was declined. Recently, another report came out stating that Chairman Bill Gates taunted the OLPC notebook due to its petite screen.

I'm among the most choosy consumers that every sales lady or sales man in all appliance centers will ever come across in their selling life. But I'm not the type who is so scandalous nor meticulous with things. I just ask a lot of questions about the product, (some queries are nonsense, mind you), to check if it's really efficient or usable before buying it.
Maybe this would not be your first time to read this phrase, so I'll make it your second or third: it's always better to go to shops personally than buy things online. I'm not overly fond of online shopping, nor have I tried giving out my credit card information in the web to purchase a personal digital assistant. When I'm buying computer gadgets or almost anything that's run by electricity, I personally visit shops because aside from the idea that I can test them first if they'll burn my house down if I plug them to 220 volts, I can have a hands-on experience if they are as user-friendly as what they should be cracked up. And shopping online is as dangerous as getting yourself in a snake pit infested by hungry and not so friendly anacondas, if you well know what I mean.
Speaking of shops, Circuit City is among my first choice when it comes to purchasing pieces of electronic equipment like portable notebooks. The shop already established a good reputation in the industry and you can find most of the top selling, trusted, and affordable brands of computers, cellphones, PDAs, digital cameras, and high definition television. The customer service is great, unlike other shops where the sales agents keep on tailing you like a stupid street dog whilst you go around the shop. As a matter of fact, most of the laptops I featured in this blog if not given by a friend or a relative, came from the said shop.

For the first time in my life I can say that I am truly, madly, deeply, crazily in love with something that I never imagine would come in my life. I think it's not unusual to love things, though we often said that we should not use people to love things instead use things to love people. However, I think I'm not violating this ancient law since I did not step nor use other people's resources to purchased my new Qosmio G35-AV650. Oops, I think you're kind of puzzled with the name, anyway, that is the latest DVD laptop produced by the Japanese company Toshiba that is formatted for high definition resolution. That's right folks, I think that is the first HD DVD of its kind to hit not only our TV screens but also the shelves of our appliance centers. Anyway, my DVD laptop boasts its 17-inch- wide screen that displays clear and sharp images with a 1080p resolution. Aside from that it has a recording feature built in it that can record TV shows like cartoons and soap operas. But I'm not fan of those programs so I'd rather wait for the DA Vinci Code movie in DVD so I can watch it over and over again.
Anyway, I'm just thankful that Toshiba has released a DVD in HD form although there are some critics that HDTVs future is clouded. I believe this is a start of the new craze in TV and movie viewing pleasure. I really love laptops because they're so portable and they also come in various designs and specific functions like for office work, games and now for viewing.

The demand for portable laptops and notebooks is extremely increasing just like the growth in the market of high definition television. Notebooks come in different shapes, sizes, weight, design, name, color, features and prices. The idea that we have a high demand for the supply of these cool devices make computer companies and their rivals to launch the latest and the greatest tools of all time.
Since I already mentioned the increase in laptop demand, therefore it would be safe if I say that the demand to return lost laptops is also increasing. In the recent years, more and more laptops are being stolen but the Federal Bureau of Investigation are having a hard time tracking the culprits of this lost machines. I'm not saying that they are not doing anything, I'm just saying that it takes them I think a month or so to hunt down suspects of laptop-napping. And aside from that, more and more computer thieves are emerging and proliferating the computer world.
Based on the research I did yesterday, we have a small percentage of lost laptops compared to the total number of computer machines recorded in the Department of justice, However, this does not dampen the idea that not only hackers and identity thieves are the new source of growing threat for business and personal users but as well as these literal robbers. I just hope that there would be more considerate computer companies that will be able to produce computers with a built-in anti-theft device.

The successful market of portable notebooks, personal digital assistants and handheld device led to a more confusing and complicated computer world. These masterpieces of the technology wizards made computer addicts and not to mention computer maniacs to go crazy on what to buy or what to support. Aside from the puzzling effect to consumers due to the wide array of tools available, the big demand for more products resulted to rivalry among the giant and small computer companies.
Amongst the biggest providers of such computer gadgets are Dell Computer Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Inc., and IBM. However, aside from the big three, we also have Toshiba, Fujitsu and Motorola to count. Truly the computer industry has revolutionized the consumers' way of thinking about computers. Before only the business and personal users are engaging in the digital anarchy, but now almost all individual with the money to spend think that a computer which you can bring anywhere is a necessity. The funny and amazing thing about this device makers is that they already launch new notebook that will be use separately for business endeavors and gaming purposes.
A sample of that company is Alienware who recently released two portable gaming computers that is equipped with wireless fidelity and uses the so-called MIMO technology. Alienware's Aurora m9700 and the Aurora mALX have 17 and 19 inch screen respectively and a cutting age graphic abilities. The company believe that consumers has different needs for work and pleasure that's why they introduced the new gaming tools which are very distinguishable from our usual portable PlayStation tools.

We keep on buying portable laptops, notebooks, Ipaqs and desktop computers to help us in our daily business and personal endeavors. However, because of the advanced application on the gadgets that we have, there would instances that we don't even no how to set them up even with the use of the manual. And more often than not, we accidentally ruin our precious devices. But to no avail, there's no need to worry because we have a bunch of Justice League hired to service computer problems called the technical support representatives.
Sorry to say this guys, but I really have to say this so if you feel you're the one I'm referring to my next line of sentences, please bear with me. There are a crowd of people out there who hate calling technical support because they feel that they're just wasting their time listening to the person on the other line who's trying his best to provide the proper solution for the computer's ailment. And there would be instances that they shout on this poor reps without any valid or accepted reason at all. Keep in mind that it's not their fault your PC is not working, and it's you who called them.
But mind you guys, although technical support is free, the people on the other face of your phone are there to help anyone who seek for them and gave them a ring. The technique for your PC to be fixed immediately is to be nice to them. Well, I guess trying to be more calm and patient rather than screaming with the top of your croaky voice until your nicotine-filled lungs burst out, is the better thing to do. Like it or not, the people you are speaking with are experts with computer sickness and remedies. Just think of this every time you call technical support offices-- put yourself on the representatives' shoes because the fact of the matter is, they are doing the same for you.

Even if we are still using desktop computers for our business and personal use, I think highly portable laptops and notebooks would soon resurfaced on the office scene. Computer companies are not stopping on producing more notebooks that satisfy almost all types of consumers. Before we started to bulky and thick laptops, now we have the sleekest, slimmest and even the smallest notebooks our mechanical brains could ever imagine.
Among the business model notebooks that bombard the computer world today, IBMs T41 is what I can say the best innovation ever. This is because the notebook is created through the superb concepts of customers and computer analysts leading to the satisfaction of notebook computer addicts. Aside from the neoteric and aesthetic design of this gizmo, it has the unique accelerometer that will automatically safeguard the computer's hard drive from the shock or impact of hitting the work station floor and it will also alarm or inform the owner if a stupid colleague clumsily knock off the PC out of the table.
But unfortunately, although T40 is the best portable computer available, it manufacturer is not the best company to date. The problem with IBM is that it doesn't want to employ more technological breakthrough unlike other laptop companies such as Dell and HP. IBM doesn't focus enough on the hardware aspect because it veered away to consumer concerns. With the fast rate of technology that other company can offer, I'm afraid that IBM will lag behind even more on the next two to five years.

I know that a laptop or a portable notebook for that matter is selling like hot pancakes with melted butter on top. The maddening public can't help themselves but indulge to whatever technology served them in its wired and wireless trays. I have my own laptop and I bought it through my savings perhaps three years worth of perseverance of not spending my allowance on unnecessary things.
I'm also aware that not all laptops are as cheap as lemon drop candies because from the product itself to its maintenance would definitely cause one to shed out at least thousands of dollars. I know some personal and business users who desires to have their own notebooks to assist them for their office and business needs. Unfortunately for them buying such cool tools would be tantamount to a month's worth of not eating or worst attending their jobs. A notebook is really a necessity to those people who want to expand their business and somehow a luxury to those who don't have the means to have one.
Dell Financial Services, a company inclined with Dell computers offer computer loan and lease programs in affordable monthly installment plans. Thankfully you have one company who will help answer your fervent prayers to have your computer devices. If you are interested, you can check on their web site or call their hot line number for more details regarding the products and process of loan and lease application.

Laptops are every where. This is because a lot of people find convenience in using a portable notebook. That is why; computer manufacturers are designing innovative laptops to sustain the needs of the users.
One of the popular laptop makers is Acer. The company is said to be one of the world's best manufacturers of computers and notebooks. And the Ferrari 400 has blossomed from this company. This model is finely crafted with several features. More so, Acer received numerous awards and recognitions for their products. One of which is the award for Acer TravelMate 3000; which was a Red Dot Design Award winner in 2005. Acer also markets computers under their own brand. And it is continuously creating new models to suffice the demands of the future users, with new line of computers, laptops, etc.
There are several good laptop manufacturers in the industry. They create products that follow the market trends. They continue to combine and develop the arts, science, and technology in all their products; like integrating wireless networking. Hence, every year a new model is born to cater the new generation.

Okay, so we have heard of customer service calls being routed to the other side of the planet just to get our Dell notebooks fixed. Sometimes, it is really a hassle with all the waiting and the endless number of buttons you have to press just to get to a customer care agent. Other times, however, the help is really immediate that you just have to feel relieved you won't have to take that trip to RadioShack.
When I ask for help regarding my Dell computer, I always inquire about the parts for my Inspiron laptop. I chose the Inspiron by Dell because compared to the Latitude line, the Inspiron laptops look more sleek and stylish, with its usual silver casing. What I also like about the Inspiron is that Dell has made more customizable and changeable parts for the series. Dell has a number of colored touchpad frames, for instance, and customers can choose from different colors like yellow, purple, black, etc. Dell also makes their laptops with fantastic screens, like the Dell 700m, so even if you get into some issues, it is still worth it to have a Dell laptop on your office desk.

Lately, I have been experiencing problems regarding my computer. This is the reason why I am looking for a brand new laptop. I saw an advertisement in the internet showing quality laptops. I think the IBM laptop was the coolest in the list.
I like laptops made by reputable companies. It gives me the assurance that the laptops will not easily break down. More than reliability, performance also matters to me. I guess the IBM laptop that I saw will provide quality results. The fact is, IBM is a household name when it comes to laptops.
