There's a new feature found in portable laptops and
personal digital assistants that causes confusion to moronic buyers. Fingerprint scanner/reader is a tool that enhances ordinary passwords by reading the user's fingerprints. It works exactly like the price scanners in supermarkets that ignoramuses use when they don't know what a tag price is for.
It's actually very user-friendly: Just slide your finger on the device, then it will treat your finger like bar codes, and if the system recognizes your fingerprint it will give you an access to your computer. If I'm not mistaken, it was
Microsoft Computers who introduced this technology to consumers as well as copycat companies. Laptops from Dell, Toshiba, and Hewlett-Packard employ this technology. Personally, I think it is a brilliant idea to simply swipe your finger on a reading machine than type long-forgotten log-ins and passwords to be able to use your computer. By this means, we can eliminate the risk of nosy colleagues hacking our PCs to grab MP3 files and well-kept porn pics. The only problem with this device is that there will be excruciating times when it will refuse to read your fingertips. So make sure your hands are always dry and squeaky clean especially right after you use the toilet.
