My laptop is my buddy. I bring it anywhere; even if I go to sports practices, adventurous scuba diving adventures, or even to a simple sip of coffee at Starbucks. It has become an essential part of me because I can do whatever I want with it -- Internet browsing, music downloading, video streaming, and many more. I don't know but I probably have influenced my younger brother to do the same. He also has his laptop anywhere he goes. Actually, we have three laptops in our house; one for our parents, my brother's, and mine.
One boring day, we decided to play an online game. We needed a router to connect with each other. That means my mom would see my secret files. I don't want to mention what it contains. However, my computer was the main server so I had control of everything. I immediately put a password to my administration interface to protect my files. Then, we all played happily ever after.
Securing wireless networks is a simple yet essential thing. We have to protect our computers when we indulge in wireless networking. Aside from firewall that blocks viruses from other networks, we need to personally do certain ways to keep our computer private. One example is putting personal password to your administration interface. If your computer is the main server, have a unique password that no one can ever guess. This simple reminder goes to all computer users that have wireless networking at home or in business offices. As for my laptop, I always ensure that it's secured and safe.

Before the year 2010 comes, Dell has already released its latest innovative Dell XPS M2010 laptop. This laptop is a hybrid laptop because it is a combination of desktop and laptop style. I think, this 20 inch integrated laptop is enough to please your eyes as well as your hands. You can work with it all day and all night long. Its battery is much stronger than the other models to be able to play your favorite games with it, watch movies, or download. Just remember to have your appropriate Dell card to give you more space.

Dell XPS M2010 laptop is not an ordinary laptop. It's more than a laptop when it comes to its dynamic design. When it is folded, it actually looks like a huge briefcase along with its leather handle and silver support that extends to the base. You will find a Dell logo on both ends of its handle, and on the lid's top. It's not colored black, but rather a graphite sort of shade. Some people prefer the original color, but I suggest this new color because it looks better.

When the company showed its new creation, PC buyers were shocked with the size, which is 20 inches, and its new strange look. Everybody thought it wouldn't make a hit in the laptop industry. But it seems that the opposite is happening. XPS M2010 by Dell is one of the top laptops used by executives nowadays. You can purchase XPS M2010 for £1,999. Sorry, it is a bit expensive due to the market's overwhelming demand.

All men are fond of using backpacks wherever they go, school, camping, trekking, and sports practices. It is true because backpacks are comfortable and convenient to carry just about anywhere. Like me, I have a collection of several backpacks. As such, I use different backpack everyday of the week. I wear backpacks depending on my mood and my clothes. No, I'm not one of the Fab Five. I'm just an OC, and backpacks have been my collection since high school.

If you want a bag where you can insert your digital gadgets like MP3 players, digital cameras, video cams, external hard drives, USB readers, and even your computer (foldable) keyboards, I suggest you choose Booq BP3. You can also include your computer monitor if it's small enough to fit in the bag. This is the latest laptop backpack that's stylish enough and fully functional as well. Its ergonomic design is deliberately crafted for outgoing, active, and hot men, like me; I mean, like us.
Wednesday, May 9. 2007
Booq BP3 bag is like a nutshell that covers all your personal gadgets and high-tech gears. You can face any weather, heavy rain or unbearable heat. Your laptop can stand any climate change as long as you put it inside your Booq BP3. The said bag is durable enough to protect your important personal gadgets. This is because Booq BP3 has a 1680D ballistic nylon cover that makes it bombproof. Needless to say, Booq BP3 bag is one tough carrier. Doubtful? Why don't you try it first?

Many computer users nowadays, especially laptop users, use the Universal Serial Bus or USB. This is a convenient external storage that you can bring anywhere, so that you're ready for anything anytime. There are many types and sizes of USB in the market. May I suggest that if you're a computer person, you must have at least 2GB memory card. This size is just enough for your downloaded new computer games, downloaded mp3s, or the latest Pirates of the Carribean.
Monday, May 7. 2007
To be able to add the external storage, you have to insert your USB on the USB port of your laptop. Your laptop will automatically detect this drive and will give you three options: open to view your files, play with Windows Media Player, and copy pictures. You can ignore these options. Close the pop-up and go to My Computer. You can open removable disks in this location. Finally, you can now add or copy anything to and from your external memory.
Sunday, May 6. 2007
When you add an external storage to any laptop, you must take note of the standard procedures to prevent damaging your system. If you want a fast procedure, then forget using external storage because it really needs to follow procedures. You can just use the CD Rom or the old school Floppy. You don't have to worry about the speed because as far as file transferring and copying is concerned, USB is a fast device.

Gadget industries are not satisfied with just a simple watch. There are many innovations done to have a more convenient and advanced life. This is what America is, always advanced. So if you're still in the comfort of your outdated Super Mario game station, wake up! We have the King Kong game in Play Stations today. Don't even look at your watch because, though it's Gucci, it still lies in the classic era. This latest watch is the 256 MB USB Watch Drive.
Friday, May 4. 2007
This watch serves as your dual-functional gadget. It's an integration of the USB 1.1 Flash Drive and the time system. It is a plug and play drive that allows you to connect to your laptop through the USB port. It also allows you to copy files, presentations, MP3s, pictures, and the like, and store it in the 256 Mega Byte memory card of your watch. Secret agents should wear this watch. It's stylish and fully functional. It's also better than your key chain USB.
Thursday, May 3. 2007
This futuristic watch is a plug and play device that anyone can use on any laptop or Mac. It allows you to store your files easily and quickly. In case of rain, don't worry because it is water resistant up to 100m. It's also shockproof to 15,000 v. You can also protect your files by putting a password on your USB Watch Drive. Lastly, it is Boot Disk capable. So, what are you waiting for? To be left behind again?

The new HP Compaq nc6400 is a one of the best laptops HP has ever produced! I was really amazed when I saw John using it in his office. This laptop, which succeeds the nc6230, is so fresh compared to its contemporaries. It has fresh features like Intel Core Duo processors, biometric security, and and wireless WAN connectivity. Aside from these features, the company also came up with more competitive thin-and-light laptops suited for today's highly competitive market. What a creation!
Tuesday, May 1. 2007
HP Compaq nc6400 rocks my world. It is a must for businessmen who are always on the go. It's a great advantage because you can still do your stuff even without electricity. This is because this new HP Compaq nc6400 is equipped with a battery that can last for more than five hours outclassing other competitive systems. Individuals and companies should also take advantage because according to CNET who has reviewed this laptop model, the price is also reasonable. With quality, speed, features and battery life, choosing HP Compaq nc6400 is a no-brainer.

What does Laptop Mag say about the new HP Compaq nc6400? According to the magazine, nc6400 is a winner! First, it has HP's Mobile Data Protection System 3D which parks the hard drive heads when the notebook detects shock or vibration. It has a fairly standard set of ports because of SD Card. Although the review tells that $1,999 may seem high for a 14.1 inches class notebook, it is well-compensated having top-notch security, EV-DO connectivity, dual-core performance, and discrete graphics.

If you're dreaming about a workhorse notebook with an outstanding image quality, then wake up! It's time to rush to your nearest computer store and purchase the new Satellite A85-S107 from Toshiba. The new model is packaged with Intel's power-friendly Celeron Mobile engine processor. It's 15 inch Liquid Crystal Display offers a wide viewable angle that you can enjoy from anywhere in the room. It also has a native resolution that reaches up to a whopping 1024 by 768 pixels.
Saturday, April 28. 2007
For a notebook with an average weight of 6.5 pounds, the A85-S107 is an impressive powerhouse machine. It has a detachable DVD and CD combination drive that can be changed for an alternative second hard drive. It has SD slots for more storage capacity and FireWire ports for better machine protection. I'm not sure if this particular product is shipped with subwoofers. But with the virtual sound surround it provides, I'd assumed it is. I also like its extra battery pack which you'll be needing most of the time.
Friday, April 27. 2007
At first, I'm delighted with the idea of having a free extra battery included in the package of this unit. But my happiness wore off when I learned that the model's battery lasts only an hour and a half. But that's okay as long as I have another battery handy. The touchpad-equipped keyboard is also a pain to my fingers. The keystrokes are shallow and the touchpad makes the cursor move a lot. Good thing the processor is fast, or else, this model would be another waste bin filler.

Dell Computer Corporation really has a different way of dealing with their customers both from the business and personal sector. Dell Latitude CPX Notebook is just one of Dell's beautiful computers designed to provide high-quality performance. It comes in a sleek moonlight-black design, with a cool dark bezel in the middle. This corporate-focused model is fast, modestly priced, and provides a no-nonsense, security-conscious design. If you want a powerhouse notebook, better snag this unit.
Wednesday, April 25. 2007
The laptop only costs $3400, which is not too hefty compared to its contemporaries within the same price range. Like many other models with the latest Pentium 3 processor, you can buy this unit with Intel wireless card. The 14.1" Liquid Crystal Display Screen TFT provides good images that won't sting the eye. The audio is also nice with the virtual sound surround it offers. It is packaged with an external battery gauge which lets you check the battery life without switching on your notebook.
Tuesday, April 24. 2007
First things first, a laptop will not work without a powerful battery, right? Dell's battery life is not at all pleasing as it renders three hours on basic computing, and two if you watch a video on it. If you want to upgrade the unit, which is tedious, you'll need to remove the system's module. The processor is a bit fast, yeah, but the Internet connection is quite sluggish. Is it Dell's problem or with my DSL provider? I don't know because I rarely use the Internet.
Monday, April 23. 2007
Travelers who are dreaming of a fast, ultra portable and cheap as chips laptop could do much better with the Asus A7J Notebook. It is a semi-light machine running on a Dual Core Intel engine processor, enticingly priced at $1,670. I personally like this product because it is not so light and not too dragging. If you have dollars to shed or a credit card to swipe, then consider this model an answer for your computing needs.
Sunday, April 22. 2007
Only 8.8 pounds, without the peripherals and just 1.5 inches tall, the unit is easy to setup in your desk or hide in your briefcase. For stingy computer users, the price is already an awesome value because it has the same price with refurbished machines. Furthermore, the audio provides virtual surround sound. The black matte-finished keyboard is touchpad-equipped so I guess it's as normal as other keyboards.
Saturday, April 21. 2007
The notebook is not shipped with extras like USB mouse and adapters. It also offers poor resolution of 1440 by 900. Anyway, the 17" Liquid Crystal Display screen delivers slightly pleasing images. With a poor resolution like that, I think I'd better watch DVDs with a real player than with this machine. You need to buy a USB model if you want a floppy drive. The memory is only 2GB, so it won't make a good storage device.
